Whiff Machine

Stroman Recovers
Marcus Stroman settled in after allowing two runs in the first inning. The right-hander allowed three hits over three innings with a walk. He owns a 3.60 ERA in two starts.
Caught My Eye
Pete Alonso went to the opposite field for a second straight day, slashing a single to right in his first at-bat. Alonso, who started as the DH, is 4-for-12 (.333) this spring with a homer and five RBIs.
